An article published online on Stuff NZ on 13 June 2017 and on The Press on 14 June, ahead of the first edition of Ciao Italia, a free-entry Italian event with stalls and entertainment organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand and the Dante Alighieri di Christchurch. The event organiser, Wilma Laryn, talks about her experience moving to New Zealand, the small Italian community in the city and the growing interest that New Zealanders have for Italy and all things Italian. The Festival was run in the evening at The Colombo shopping mall in conjunction with the opening night in Christchurch of the 2017 edition of Cinema Italiano Festival.
