The Italians in New Zealand and Other Studies was published by the Dante Alighieri Society of Auckland in 1973, and represent a collections of papers read at the Society in 1970 and 1972 by society members Eugénie Laracy and Hugh Laracy, and then collected into a booklet. The Italians in New Zealand and Other Studies It is rich with information about the Italian presence in Australasia and then in New Zealand, has a rich list of references and it is an important historical document for the Dante Alighieri Society of Auckland. On the back page there is an add for a travel agent (Lloyd Triestino, luxury ocean liner), aimed at New Zealand tourists and academic, rather than local Italians.
